When I started living a non-toxic lifestyle, cookware was one of the first swaps I made. And let me tell you, it makes a huge difference. If you're cooking with traditional nonstick pans, there's a good chance you're exposing yourself to toxic chemicals like Teflon, PFAS, and PTFE that can leach into your food, especially at high heat. These toxins are also known as “forever” chemicals because they can stay in your body for an indefinite amount of time.

Two of the most popular "non-toxic" cookware brands people ask me about all the time, and that I have tried? Caraway and Our Place. Especially for members of the Girls Who Eat community, both of these brands have major pros, including the fact that they come in fun colors and are very aesthetically pleasing in addition to being non-toxic, so it makes sense that trying to choose between the two may be a challenge. I’ve used both in my own home, so in this newsletter, I’m breaking them down side by side so you can decide which brand and products might be a better fit for your kitchen.
